Filipino writer Esguerra Castillo receives international awards
Elizabeth Esguerra Castillo, a writer from Antipolo City, Philippines has received another international award.
Castillo was recently honored along with other 349 writers from 80 countries by Motivational Strips and Gujarat Sahitya Akademi.
The prestigious international recognition is in commemoration of India’s 74th Independence Day last August 15, honoring writers worldwide for their excellence in literature at par with global standards.
Motivational Strips is world’s most active writers forum while Gujarat Sahitya Akademi is the most premium and leading literary institution in India.
According to the Times of India, the leading newspaper in India, the honors given is the “top a writer can achieve in a lifetime.”
The academy is run by the state government of Gujarat and the award given by the institution is a dream for writers in India and beyond.
Castillo is a multiawarded contemporary international author and poet and the author of two books: “Seasons of Emotions” published in the UK and “Inner Reflections of the Muse” published in the USA
She is also a co-author to nearly 100 international anthologies in the USA, Canada, UK, Romania, India, Africa, Albania, Iraq, Ecuador, and Argentina. Elizabeth’s works were already translated into 12 languages.
Her most recent autobiographical essay “The Universe in Transition” was included in “Global Pandemic Crisis: A Series of Literary Essays on Quarantine” published by Transcendent Zero Press based in the USA.
