Ocasio-Cortez endorses New York candidates for general election
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed some New York candidates for the general election.
The announcement was made through her Facebook page on Saturday October 24, 2020.
“Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pleased to announce General Election endorsements for these New York candidates who stand up against corporations, fight for worker protections, support Medicare for All, and will enact Green New Deal policies at the state and federal level,” Ocasio said.
She added that “We need more representatives that listen to the people they represent, and bring the people’s voice to Albany and DC.”

The candidates she endorsed include: Christine for New York, Senator Michael Gianaris, State Senator Jessica Ramos, Julia Salazar, Jabari for State Senate, Robert Jackson, Gustavo Rivera for State Senate, Alessandra Biaggi, Jamaal Bailey, Jessica González-Rojas, and Zohran Kwame Mamdani.
Others are Catalina Cruz NY, Ron Kim for New York, marcelaforny, Phara for Assembly, Yuh-Line Niou, Nathalia Fernandez, Karines Reyes, RN, Jamaal Bowman for Congress, and Mondaire Jones.
