Forest is in Danger by Monalisa Parida
Fire!
Extreme destruction and devastation!
From grass to bush
From bush to tree
Trees after tree
So widely it runs.
Flames leaping to the sky.
The sky is crying blood and loud.
With sleepless weary eyes.
The night is pained.
The moon and stars are red.
Forest is burning
Mother nature is shocked
Stands aloof and stunned
Like a mother waits
Outside the ICU.
With a hope of rain.
Wild animals all losing homes
Running helter-skelter
Like leaves of the west wind.
But mankind sleeps
With a deep sleep
Unaware and careless.
