Man found nailed to tree in Kenya rescued
Kenyan police have rescued a man who had been nailed on a tree for allegedly stealing a radio set.
The victim of the painful ordeal, Collins Sambaya 19, from Sabatia in Izara village of Western Kenya has been saved by police after the man was found nailed on a tree using two roofing nails, that have been driven through each palm of the man’s hands.
Police say they found the man stuck and in great pain .
The incident brought the village to a standstill and has been condemned by Kenyans on social media after the photo went viral.
The distraught Kenyans who couldn’t come to terms with what has befallen the man, watched in disbelief as officers rescue him and rushed him to hospital.
Meanwhile, Directorate of Criminal Investigation in Kenya (DCI – Kenya) have launched a manhunt for the suspects responsible for the inhuman act.
“The area security team is employing every available resources to apprehend the suspects,” said the DCI – Kenya.
