Hezbollah has confirmed the death of Ahmad Mahmoud Wahabi, a high-ranking commander within its elite Radwan Force, following an Israeli airstrike on a Beirut suburb. Wahabi is the second senior member of the Radwan Force’s leadership to be identified among the 14 men killed in Friday’s attack, joining Ibrahim Aqil, another key figure in the group.

Israeli media reports suggest that the strike, which targeted a meeting of senior Radwan Force leaders, was the result of information provided by a “reliable intelligence source.” The attack represents a significant blow to Hezbollah, as the Radwan Force is its elite military unit tasked with specialized operations.

The loss of Wahabi and Aqil underscores the growing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, which have been escalating amid broader regional conflicts. With all 14 casualties now identified, this latest strike further raises the stakes in an already volatile situation.
