In a press statement released on December 2, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken lauded the strong ties between the two countries and highlighted their shared achievements.
“On behalf of the United States, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, our partners and friends in the UAE, and the Emirati people as they celebrate Eid al Etihad,” Blinken said.
