Qatar condemns Israeli attack on Jenin, calls for international action

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ recent attack on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in the deaths of multiple civilians.

Describing the assault as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights, Qatar urged the global community to take decisive action.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar called on the international community to “shoulder its responsibilities” in addressing such violations and ensuring the protection of civilians in line with international law and relevant conventions.

Reaffirming its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, the Ministry emphasized Qatar’s commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
