EU condemns terrorist attack on Abha airport
The European Union has strongly condemned the terrorist attack against Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
While expressing its worry over the attack on Thursday February 11, 2021, EU spokesman Peter Stano tweeted, “It’s the latest in a series of attacks which are endangering civilians, increasing regional instability and delaying the prospect of a solution to the Yemen conflict,”
The “EU calls for these attacks to stop,” he said.
Yemen’s Houthi militias on Wednesday targeted the airport, causing a civilian plane on the tarmac to catch fire, the Kingdom said.
