ABC Group meets Hon Afolabi, highlights achievements within constituency
The Alliance for Better Constituency Group has held a meeting with Hon Olalekan Rasheed Afolabi, who is representing Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency.
While expressing delight for the opportunity to hold a former discussion with the House of Rep member, ABC Group noted in a statement that it was honored by the opportunity.
“We are so honoured to have a formal audience with the IBO Federal Constituent representative, Hon Afolabi Olalekan and earned his endorsement of our new name, 𝙰𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝙱𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚢 (𝙰𝙱𝙲) 𝙶𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙,” the statement reads.
“We’d supported and worked for him during his pre-election campaign period and still standing by him because we so much believe our constituency deserves a representative who will stand up for us and provide governance that works for everyone. And indeed the man has not faltered since his emergence,” the statement adds.
While recognizing Hon Afolabi’s achievements, ABC group stated that “Within the frame of a legislative year, Hon Afolabi Olalekan has a record of raising key issues and important policies to better the lots of our constituency in particular and the nation at large.”
It stated that part of his efforts was that he made several attempts toward the establishment of Federal College of Education (Technical) to the constituency.
“Hon Afolabi also sponsored a bill for the establishment of Entrepreneurship Development Bank.
“Besides, he successful called for rehabilitation of UCH health Centre in Okuku, and 4 different empowernent trainings for Women and Youths of the constituency,” the statement concludes.
The ABC group therefore expressed its delight to associate with Hon Afolabi. It promised to give unrestrained support to him.
