OIC condemns terror attack at Nice church

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned the terror attack at a church in Nice, France.

While condemning the attack in a statement on Friday October 30, 2020, OIC noted that the terror attack resulted in the death and injury of several people.

“The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the terrorist attack near NotreDame Church in Nice, France, which resulted in the death and injury of several people,” the statement reads.

The General Secretariat therefore offered condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of France, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

The organization also reiterated its steadfast position rejecting “the phenomenon of extremism and #terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.”

OIC called urged that all practices that might lead to hatred and violence should be avoided.
