The management of New York Parrot and Parrot TV has officially endorsed George Onuorah for the City Council District 21 election race in Queens, according to the press release jointly signed by the Chairman, Sheikh Musa Drammeh and the Chief Executive Officer cum Chief Editor, Mutiu Olawuyi.
Olawuyi disclosed that this decision was made on May 4, 2021, after the top management meeting.
“The management agreed to support George Onuorah in this year’s City Council election race because his manifesto is perfectly in line with our values a media house for the masses, with specific interest in post-covid swift recovery strategies, public safety and equal opportunities for all, regardless of race, gender, religion or socio-economic background,” Olawuyi said.
“Onuorah is a true candidate for the masses; he compassionate, straightforward, humble, visionary, and well versed on issues related to public welfare,” he added. “And this is why we feel he’s the right candidate for the job.”
In the press release, Sheikh Musa Drammeh described Onuorah as an individual with in-born leadership prowess suitable to aid his constituents to recover easily and swiftly post-Covid-19.
“George Onuorah has everything it takes a leader to rescue his people from current socio-economic challenges,” Drammeh said.
“His entrepreneurial skill is superb enough to come up with appropriate legislation that could bring out swift economically recovery post-covid-19 era,” he added.
“We therefore implore the people of district 21 in Queens to give George Onuorah the chance to be their voice at the City’s legislative house; no one will regret voting for him.” the press release concludes.
