Amalija Knavs, known for her strength and grace, immigrated to the United States from Slovenia with her husband Victor Knavs. The couple, after a lengthy immigration process, officially became US citizens in 2018 during Donald Trump’s presidency. Melania paid tribute to her mother, acknowledging her as a woman who consistently exuded grace, warmth, and dignity. Melania emphasized the profound impact of Knavs’ legacy and expressed the family’s enduring love.
Melania Trump’s parents navigated the immigration system, ultimately obtaining citizenship through their daughter’s sponsorship, utilizing the family reunification visa process.
