Biden urges Congress to provide $3 trillion in stimulus aid as COVID surges

The United States President-elect, Joe Biden, has urged Congress to provide $3 trillion in stimulus aid.

While disclosing this on Monday November 16, 2020, Biden said the US can only begin to build back its economy by first controlling the coronavirus.

“More people may die if we don’t coordinate” as the coronavirus pandemic surges across the country months before Biden’s inauguration,” he said.

Biden also called on Republican senators to step up and pass a bill like the $3-trillion Heroes Act to provide much-needed economic relief to the country’s struggling families and businesses now.
