Fernando Cabrera announces $854,000 plus Campaign Filing
Council Member Fernando Cabrera’s campaign for Bronx Borough President has announced their latest fundraising numbers before the June Primary.
Cabrera raised over $154,000 from hundreds of donors – the majority of funds raised are eligible to be matched 8-1 in public funds, which, when accounted for, totals more than $700,000.
“Council Member Cabrera has built unprecedented support on the grassroots level throughout the Bronx,” said campaign manager, Timothy Tapia.
“Fernando has demonstrated that his vision for repairing the Bronx has been embraced by residents from every corner of the borough.”
“I’m humbled to have the support from so many Bronx residents. Our campaign is fueled by grocery store workers, faith-based leaders, mom and pop business owners, and hard-working Bronx residents that represent what the heart and soul of this borough really is. I’m confident that their support will be critical in our race for borough hall,” Cabrera said.
Council Member Fernando Cabrera is running for Bronx Borough President to fight for bold and common-sense solutions to combat issues stemming from the Borough’s COVID-19 crisis.
