CAIR-NY, WAKE and NYC Test & Trace to provide iftar at Mullaly Park
CAIR-NY, WAKE and NYC Test & Trace have announced plan to bring a community iftar to the Bronx on Friday May 7th to Mullaly Park.
While making the announcement on Thursday May 6, 2021, the Outreach Coordinator, Abdoulaye Cisse, said that the community, Muslims and non-Muslims would be invited for the iftar.
“We’re inviting the community, Muslims and people who aren’t Muslim, to come break their fast in one place. Of course food and beverage will be provided. We’ll also give out PPE, supplied by NYC Test-Trace,” Abdoulaye said.
He added, “All the special guests have confirmed and will be there at 6pm sharp. Our entertainment for the event will be poetry and comedy.
“To accommodate for food and space, please scan the QR code using your phone’s camera. Our special guests will be @ally_deen @wayoflifesq @toolyyy @ali_ibn_nouha_ @abah9 Comedy and Poetry will be done by @buba100x and @keifwot.”
He, therefore, enjoined interested persons to register their attendance so as to have enough food for everyone.
