NYPD investigates Harlem shooting which leaves one man dead
The New York Police Department is investigating an early-morning shooting which left a man dead in Harlem on Saturday.
At about 3:10 a.m., the police received a call about a person shot near the Jackie Robison Houses at 118 East 128 Street, according to NYPD.
Police, upon arrival, found a man in his 20s lying unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals Harlem by EMS where he was pronounced dead.
Although no arrests have been made, investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
Pending family notification, the name of the deceased is being withheld.
