Linda Sarsour receives MADGA award

New York based Justice Activist, Linda Sarsour, has received Muhammad Ali Daughter of Greatness Award.

Sarsour disclosed this via her Facebook page on Friday February 10, 2023.

“Today I was honored with the Muhammad Ali Daughter of Greatness Award from the official Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY in a sold out event,” Sarsour wrote.

She described Muhammad Ali as a man who was “unapologetically muslim and spoke truth to power no matter the consequences”.

“To receive an award named after a hero of mine is one of the greatest recognitions that has ever been bestowed upon me,” she said.

“I’m humbled. Honored. Blessed. This recognition is not just a reflection of me and the work I have done, it’s a reflection of the incredible people I have surrounded myself with over the years and for my beloved family who has held me down to stay on this righteous path.

“Every time some try to stand in my way – God makes other plans,” Sarsour stated.
