Hon Adeyemi Alli’s One Year in Office: Catalogue of Landmark Achievements
At the time Hon Adeyemi Alli joined the country’s legislative arm, his constituency, Mushin Federal Constituency 1, was desperately in need of a political leader to deliver quality representation.
This active member of the House of Representatives was neither chosen nor elected to fulfill all righteousness; it was a collective efforts of his party leaders who considered him the best candidate and choice of the people. With the true-blue support of the people and political party, APC, he won a seat in the Green Chamber.

As the man of the people, since the commencement of his tenure in the House, Hon Alli has been a blessing to his constituency, in terms of qualitative representation. The entire Mushin Federal Constituency 1 has benefitted from his numerous social intervention programs. He has personally moved motions, sponsored bills and supported others to the benefit of his constituents.
Legislative roles/Achievements
Hon Alli has recorded significant achievements in the discharge of his legislative responsibilities. During his first week in the Green Chamber, he moved a motion where he called for the urgent need to revitalise the power sector, with a reference to Ilupeju Industrial Hub in his constituency. The motion trigger a significant improvement in the power distribution in that area.
He also sponsored a bill in favour of the artisans in Nigeria. The bill was aimed at making them (the artisans) more effective and productive in the country. Not only that, another bill on how to tackle the security challenge posed by “one chance” in cities like Lagos, Abuja and Kano was sponsored by him.
In addition, this week, Hon Alli moved a motion to investigate the Nigeria Police Force Pension Limited, following the failure to meet the its pension and gratuities obligations. And in the interest of his country, he led a team of legislators to secure the release of a Nigerian lady who was accused of drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia.
Social Intervention Programs
There are landmark achievements credited to this great leader in the area of social intervention. Within a year in office, he has unveiled lots of social intervention initiatives, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
On the occasion of his birthday, he gathered the elder people, traders and members of his political party to celebrate with them. He leveraged the avenue to launch an empowerment program tagged: Feeding the Elderly and Economic Support for Traders and Artisans. At the event, food items, cash and other packages were distributed to those who were present.
During this coronavirus pandemic, palliative packages have been distributed to residents in his constituency through various social intervention initiatives.
He unveiled an initiative tagged: “Food Stimulus Package”. The initiative, which catered for the needy in the constituency, aimed at cushioning the economic effects of the lockdown. Not less than 5,000 residents received the palliative packages. Besides, during the month of Ramadan, Hon Alli provided meals (iftar) for 800 people every day.
In a bid to curtail the spread of Covid-19 in his constituency, Hon Adeyemi Alli partnered the council Chairman in his constituency to organize sensitisation programs and educate all the residents.
Education Intervention Programs
As a leader who prioritises the education of every child, he organized entrepreneurial training for the youth. The training was facilitated through the use of audio-visual materials. In addition to that, he distributed free JAMB forms to qualified candidates for the exam.
