Reverend Ruben Diaz, after casting his vote this morning, has boastfully said, having crically analyse the strength and weaknesses of his opponents in the race, that his chances of winning the 15th congressional district primary elections are pretty high.

In an interview with Parkchester Times correspondent, Moses Kuwema, after voting in the Democratic primaries at PS 106 in Parkchester, Rev Diaz said his track record speaks for itself.

“I have been doing a lot of community work in the Bronx, like creating jobs. I have been doing this as a council member. I believe I can now do more by working for a more powerful place like congress. I won’t be restricted to the council.

“When dealing with issues to do with immigration for instance, you need someone who can speak for the immigrants in the whole of the US and not just New York. You need someone who can fight for immigrants from different countries at a national level and that’s me,” concluded Rev Diaz who was accompanied by his wife Leslie Diaz.
