In a drive-by shooting that happened in a broad daylight on Stanley Ave. near Van Siclen Ave. in Brooklyn on Friday 19th June, a 27-year-old man, Hassan Brown was killed while a 17-year-old boy was wounded.

Brown and the teenage boy, believed to be a passenger, got shot while in a gray Nissan parked on Stanley Ave. near Van Siclen Ave. in East New York.

A Mercedes Benz suddenly pulled up next to the their car and gunshots were fired at both Brown and the boy by someone from inside the Mercedes Benz.

According to the police, Brown was shot in the chest, face and leg while the teenage boy sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victims managed to get out of their Nissan car writhing under the gunshot wounds.

The boy was seen lying in the street while Brown sought refuge in a deli near to the place of the incident.

Speaking about Brown’s condition when he saw him, Abdullah Mohammed, the deli manager said, “He fell on the floor and he was shaking.

“He was struggling to breathe and bleeding from the chest.”

The victims were taken to the Brookdale Hospital in an emergency service after the police tried using Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on Brown.

Brown was declared dead shortly after, while the boy the teenage boy was said to be in a stable condition as of Friday evening.

Expressing shock over the incident, Sally Williams, Brown’s aunt, said that she arrived at the scene to learn that her nephew has died.

She found the incident gruesome and said that no one deserve such a killing.

“Nobody deserves to be shot down in the street like that,” Sally SAID.

As of Friday evening, the police said that a thorough search for the Mercedes Benz was still ongoing.
