British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has declared a substantial increase in military aid to Ukraine, amounting to €2.9 billion. The announcement precedes his anticipated meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy scheduled for Friday, where discussions are expected to focus on bolstering Ukraine’s defenses against the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Prime Minister Sunak is set to visit Kyiv on Friday to solidify the commitment made, revealing a planned injection of £2.5 billion into Ukraine’s defense efforts over the upcoming fiscal year. This funding marks a £200 million increase from the allocations of the preceding two years.
