OIC condemns attack targeting VP of Afghanistan
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned the attack that targeted the official convoy of Afghanistan’s First Vice President, Amrullah Saleh, in Kabul.
While disclosing this on Thursday September 10, 2020, the OIC’s General Secretariat extended its deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan.
It also wished a speedy recovery to those injured.
Although Saleh survived the attack, dozens of civilian casualties were reported in the blast.
“GS affirms its solidarity with Afghanistan in facing violence, terrorism, and extremism in all its forms,” GS said in a statement.
