Electoral Victory: Jamaal Bailey appreciates voters, reiterates commitment to district
Jamaal Bailey, a Senator representing New York Senate District 36, has appreciated voters from his district for their support towards his reelection.
Bailey, who sent the appreciation via his Facebook page on Wednesday November 4, 2020, also urged the residents to remain calm and wait for the results of the presidential election.
“Let’s move forward and exercise patience when awaiting results nationally and with some other state races here in NY. There’s more work to be done, but for now let me just say thank you,” Bailey said.
“I’m eternally grateful to the residents of the 36th District who saw it fit to overwhelmingly bring me back to Albany for another two years. I appreciate your confidence in me and I pledge to continue to work hard for all of you in Mount Vernon and The Bronx.
“Thanks to my amazing staff, the #baileybunch led by Jason Laidley for helping this district continue to ascend,” he added.
