Mayor de Blasio announces phase 3 lockdown easing

The Mayor of New York city, Bill de Blasio, has announced the date for the beginning of phase 3 of the lockdown easing in the city.

While making the announcement on his Facebook page ON Friday June 25, 2020, de Blasio stated that “‪NYC, all signs point to us reaching Phase 3 of our restart as soon as July 6.‬”

He added that “That means indoor dining (at 50% capacity) and personal care businesses will be back.”

Assuring New Yorkers that ‪Phase 3 will also bring back a lot of parks spaces, de Blasio noted that basketball courts‬, tennis courts‬, handball courts, bocce courts‬ and dog runs‬ will open.

He therefore urged al New Yorkers to keep staying safe and always wear their face coverings.
