Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei has condemned Israel’s recent military actions, particularly the missile attack on Iran that resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals. Khamenei urged the international community to unite against what he described as Israel’s “horrific war crimes” in Gaza and Lebanon.

“The actions of the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon are among the most horrific war crimes,” Khamenei asserted in a series of posts on social media. He emphasized the need for a global coalition, stating, “The world must stand against the Zionist regime to prevent these crimes from being committed in Gaza and Lebanon. A global political, economic, and if necessary military coalition must be formed against the evil regime that is currently perpetrating the most horrific war crimes.”

His remarks followed Israel’s recent attack, which he deemed a “wrong move.” Khamenei highlighted the necessity for the Iranian military to evaluate an appropriate response, declaring, “We must make them understand the power, determination, and initiative of the Iranian people.”

Khamenei’s call for resistance reflects a broader sentiment within the Iranian leadership. Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref echoed this stance, promising an “appropriate response” to Israel’s actions. He also alluded to a recent “terrorist attack” that resulted in the deaths of nearly a dozen police officers, asserting, “Surely the perpetrators of these two crimes will receive an appropriate response.”

As tensions escalate, the world watches closely, questioning how Iran will navigate its next steps amid growing regional instability.
