Tito Jackson, a founding member of the legendary Jackson 5 and brother of the late Michael Jackson. Dies at the age of 70.
The news was confirmed by his sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday.
Tito Jackson was an integral part of the iconic ensemble that rose to fame in the 1970s with hits like “ABC,” “The Love You Save,” and “I Want You Back.”
Alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, Tito’s music career spanned decades, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry.

The cause of death has not been officially disclosed. Steve Manning, a long-time friend and former manager of the Jackson family, also confirmed the news.
Tito’s sons, who formed the R’n’B/pop trio 3T in the 1990s, paid tribute to their father, saying, “We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken… Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.”
The Jackson family has suffered another devastating loss, following the passing of Michael Jackson in 2009. Tito’s legacy will live on through his music and the countless lives he touched.
