President-elect Donald Trump, just hours after delivering a Thanksgiving message to “Radical Left Lunatics,” shared a parody video on Truth Social mocking key Democrats through a scene from the classic holiday film Christmas Vacation.
The video, posted Thursday evening, replaces Chevy Chase’s iconic character, Clark Griswold, with President Joe Biden. As Biden cuts into a dry turkey, the scene echoes Chase’s famous line, “If this turkey tastes half as good as it looks, I think we’re all in for a very big treat.” Surrounding the table are various Democrats, with California Rep. Adam Schiff depicted as Cousin Eddie, and Vice President Kamala Harris as his wife, Catherine, laughing in the background.
Trump, known for his polarizing public style, further skewers his political rivals by inserting figures like First Lady Jill Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi into the dinner scene. The video reaches its climax with Trump himself popping up to dance to “YMCA,” one of his rally staples, as the turkey collapses in a comical disaster. Other Democratic figures, including Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also make appearances.
Earlier in the day, Trump offered a Thanksgiving message where he extended well wishes to all, including his political opponents: “To the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed… their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Trump’s latest post, filled with political humor, further underscores his ongoing critique of Democratic leadership, as he continues to challenge his adversaries in the run-up to his election.
