The United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel have launched fresh airstrikes on Yemen, targeting the Al Hudaydah province. The strikes resulted in the deaths of at least six people and left another person injured, further escalating tensions in the region.

Yemeni officials condemned the attacks, vowing retaliation. “No aggression against Yemen will go unpunished,” a senior Yemeni official declared. “Our armed forces are fully capable of defending this country and will respond accordingly.”

The attacks come amid heightened regional tensions, with Yemen reaffirming its solidarity with Palestine. Yemeni leaders have expressed strong support for Palestine’s struggle against Israeli occupation, especially following Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza, which began after the October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements.

Yemeni Armed Forces have pledged to continue their operations until Israel halts its relentless ground and aerial assaults on Gaza. “We will not stop our attacks until the brutal Israeli offensives cease,” a spokesperson for the Yemeni military stated.

The conflict in Gaza has resulted in a catastrophic humanitarian crisis, with over 27,948 people killed and 67,459 wounded, according to recent reports.

In December, the United States and Britain announced the formation of a military coalition to target Yemen in support of Israel, further intensifying the situation. Yemeni officials have criticized this coalition, accusing the US and UK of exacerbating the conflict and contributing to the suffering of Yemeni civilians.

As the violence continues, the people of Yemen remain resolute in their resistance, with many expressing unwavering support for Palestine and condemning the ongoing aggression by the US, UK, and Israel.
