African Union Day Foundation to celebrate Africa Day 2025 at Iconic Turkish House in NYC

The annual Africa Day 2025 celebration, hosted by the African Union Day Foundation under the patronage of the Türkiye Government, will have been held on Thursday, April 2, 2025, at the Turkish House, located across from the United Nations on 1st Avenue and 46th Street.

This year’s theme, “Africa is open to global tourists and investors,” has been designed to highlight the continent’s welcoming stance toward international investment and tourism.

The Foundation has extended an invitation to all African Diaspora organizations and non-African stakeholders to express their intentions to participate in this prestigious event.

The celebration will have taken place at the Turkish House, renowned for its scenic event balcony with a breathtaking view of the United Nations, offering one of the most iconic venues in downtown Manhattan.

The Turkish Ambassador, adhering to diplomatic protocol, will have invited his fellow diplomatic colleagues to join the festivities, ensuring a high-profile and meaningful gathering.
