The discussion focused on deepening the U.S.-Indonesia partnership, particularly through advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific with ASEAN at its core.
“Today, I sat down with President Subianto of Indonesia to mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between our countries,” Biden shared. “We discussed continuing to strengthen our partnership, first by advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific with ASEAN at its center.”
The announcement prompted a flurry of supportive comments from followers, expressing admiration for Biden’s leadership.
