The Gambia Vice President contracts Covid-19
The Gambian Vice President, Dr. Isatou Touray, has contracted positive for COVID-19.
While disclosing this on Wednesday July 29, 2020, the Office of the President informs the public that the President, Adama Barrow, will consequently be on self-isolation with immediate effect for two weeks.
While reminding the public that the Coronavirus is real and exists in The Gambia, the president advised proper use face masks, regular hand washing and social distancing.
The president urged the people of the Gambia to stay safe at home in order to fight the pandemic.
