It was reported that Hassan Ademaj, who owns Bella Pizza on Third Avenue in the Bronx, was feeding hungry people in his community at the height of the pandemic.

Appreciating the generous and caring Ademaj, Council member Fernando Cabrera presented him and his employees with the high honor of a New York City Council Citation.

While expressing his gratitude to the council member, Ademaj said, “It was an honor to accept the recognition.”

“We are trying to do the best we can for the community, especially with this difficult time,” he added.
