NYC woman’s body found in storage bin, NYPD indicts cousin
The body of a 35-year-old woman identified as Nisaa Walcott was found inside a plastic storage container on a sidewalk in the High Bridge section of Bronx.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) has indicted, arrested, and charged a 21-year-old man for the crime.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Khalid Barrow has been charged with the death of his 35-year-old cousin, Nisaa Walcott.
Barrow has been charged with murder and concealing a human corpse.
Around 2 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022, the victim was discovered in the High Bridge section of Bronx. The victim was found unconscious and unresponsive inside a container on University Avenue.
An autopsy has been planned and the cause of Walcott’s death is still unknown.
The family of the victim says she was a mother to a 14-year-old son.
