This Event took place on the 20th and 21st of February 2023 at the InterContinental Hotel in Jeddah and hosted more than 24 national and international speakers who pioneers in the profession of nursing. These diverse speakers from different backgrounds and specializations helped the attendees, throughout the 20 sessions of the event and the 6 interactive workshops, gain fundamental experience that will be implemented in their daily lives as healthcare professionals.

Ms. Nada Massoudi, Chairperson, Symposium Committee, highlighted how being involved in such an event signifies the IMC’s commitment to enlighten the new generation of nurses towards nursing excellence. She also stated that the symposium is a wonderful learning opportunity for nurses, students and other healthcare professionals who will leave the 2 days event enriched with fresh insight in nursing care advancement through the experiences being shared by the honorable speakers who will in turn add value to their experience.

The key objectives behind the International Nursing Symposium are to enrich the nurses’ knowledge when it comes to evidence-based practice as well as the favorable outcome of holistic nursing on the patients’ overall experience and their families. In addition to that, the symposium helps nurses recognize the positive impact that healthcare digitalization has on their profession lives and promotes the concept of wellness and self-care.
