Muslim World League Hails UN Conference as Landmark Victory for Palestinian Cause

The Muslim World League (MWL) has described the Palestinian cause as the foremost issue in the Arab and Islamic conscience, as well as a universal struggle for justice and peace.
In a statement on Wednesday, the MWL commended the outcome of the High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York under the joint chairmanship of Saudi Arabia and France.
According to the League, the wide support garnered at the conference represented “a victory for the voice of wisdom, justice, and values over the machine of war, destruction, and arrogance.”
The MWL further said the conference marked a decisive historical shift in the recognition of the legal and historical rights of the Palestinian people, adding that the event underscored renewed global commitment to peace in the Middle East.
