Nigeria: GYSF unveils project, feeds 100 underprivileged people in Lagos
Global Youth Sustainability Foundation, a non-governmental organisation which promotes welfarism among the underprivileged Nigerians, has fed 100 underprivileged people in Lagos State, Nigeria.
On the 25th of December, 2020, GYSF, which was founded by Ikimat Salawu Yusuff, reached out to 100 underprivileged people in the state.
While disclosing this on Saturday, the Founder, Ikimat Yusuf, said there were various projects being organized to assist the underprivileged.
“We appreciate God almighty for making the project a success. It wasn’t an easy task but we give glory to God almighty,” she said.
“Seeing people enjoy themselves with our food brought joy to our hearts. Special appreciation to all GYSF volunteers, I wish I could mention their names; they are just too amazing,” the founder added.
According to her, GYSF, which was established on January 1st, 2020, is aimed creating and implementing policies and actions to reduce poverty, improve health care, promote peace and equality.
She therefore leveraged the mediun to urge the government to support GYSF’s mission so as to reach out to a wider range of people.
