NBCI Stands With Mr. Byron Allan And Condemn Both Comcast and the Rev. Al Sharpton
Washington, DC – The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), a faith-based coalition of 34,000 member churches comprised of 15 denominations and 25.7 million African Americans along with an additional 116, 000 black churches are standing with and wholeheartedly support Mr. Byron Allen in his $ 20 billion lawsuits against both Comcast and Rev. Al Sharpton, who we believe in our opinion is an opportunist and a willing participant in helping to deny Mr. Allen his right to air his programming on the Comcast cable platform.
In this case, Rev. Sharpton action is morally offensive and falls outside of his calling and the ethics and teachings of Jesus concerning of biblical notion of fair play.
To be fair, Rev. Sharpton has done a lot of good for black people—sometimes it is hard to see because of his personal greed. This why the Black Church is moving to censor Sharpton and condemn him for this evil action —against thy own brother. How can you say you are helping black people at the same time you and a white corporation are undermining us?
The justices will review a decision by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that cleared the way for a $20 billion civil rights lawsuit against Comcast to proceed. At issue in the litigation is the refusal by Comcast to carry channels operated by Entertainment Studios Networks, owned by Byron Allen, who is black.
What Mr. Allen is fighting for is an even playing field for all black broadcasters. He is fighting for all black people. Comcast who is an industry bully and racist is saying to Mr. Allen and the entire black community that Sharpton is their minority and we do not need two. One N…. at a time. If Mr. Allen wins, every black broadcast has an opportunity to compete for the $100 billion content businesses.
Rev. Anthony Evans, President of the National Black Church Initiative says, NBCI has been supporting Byron Allan for the beginning –just ask him. We will continue to pray for the victory that we know God will give Mr. Allen because of his claims are moral just and he is fighting on behalf of black oppress people. Sharpton is clearing working against black people by siding with the white corporation-Comcast “
A majority of black clergy from across this country is opposing Sharpton on this matter. Many believe that money is at the heart of this issue. Sharpton always finds a way to make money for himself and his organization at the expense of our people. Sharpton is a moral hypocrite in the eyes of the black church because he is willing to use his influence that the black community loans him to dismiss and crush Mr. Allen legitimate legal claims he has against Comcast. This is why the Supreme Court is willing to hear the claim.
The Obama Justice Civil Rights Division did nothing to support Mr. Allen claims and work hard to block him in every possible way. We believe this is because of the close working relationship between Obama (the president who support gay rights over black people) and Sharpton has.
Comcast is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters—another racist organization.
Sharpton has aligned himself with Trump as well—the Trump Justice Department is supporting Sharpton and Comcast position by interpreting the Civil Rights statute in a way, which was never intended. Now you know whom Sharpton and Comcast are sleeping with (Trump)—Boycott Comcast!!
If Mr. Allen lost against Sharpton and Comcast at the Supreme Court, the whole of black media will suffer for the next 400 years.
