Daylight Africa Week launched in Senegal as AU-20 commemoration holds in Gambia
Daylight Africa Week has been officially launched in Dakar, Senegal.
The AU-20 commemoration is scheduled to hold in The Gambia.
This was confirmed in a statement released by officials on Monday September, 2022.
“It has been a great honor to be here in Dakar. We’re very grateful for everything so far,” the statement confirms.
“The logistics, the venues, the programs and coordinators are excellent. Everyone is happy indeed,” added the statement.
According to the statement, The Gambian officials have taken this initiative so seriously that some of the hosts in Senegal have decided not to miss Daylight Africa Week inauguration.
Daylight Africa Week is also in partnership with New York Parrot, Senegambia Parrot, Parkchester Times and Parrot TV to cover and report the event.
Cultural performance planned to welcome guests at the event include Mandinka Kankurang Masquerade,
Wollof Lion Zimba,
Fula Juboo Acrobatic Dance, Jola Kumpo and Samayoo Bucarabu.
