NYPD investigates penis vandalism in Bronx stationhouse
NYPD has begun investigation of penis vandalism in Bronx stationhouse
An unknown NYPD member drew penises on the lockers of five cops at a Bronx stationhouse, officials said Friday.
“The phallus-obsessed department worker — likely a cop — left the crude drawings in permanent black marker inside the men’s locker room at the 52nd Precinct station house in Norwood sometime before 9 p.m. Wednesday, when the vandalism was reported to the precinct commander,” sources with knowledge of the case said.
A video of the locker room reviewed by the Daily News shows the phallic symbols on the locker doors. Some of the graffiti was surrounded by small hearts.
The locker doors were already adorned with NYPD stickers, and, in one instance, a Batman symbol.
“Oh my God, who could have done this?” the one recording the video asks. “It’s devastating! There’s c—- everywhere!”
“The d— bandit got (him),” he said. “Don’t worry man, I’ll avenge you.”
No other vandalism was found in the stationhouse, officials said. It was not immediately disclosed why the five cops were targeted.
“The incident is under internal review,” an NYPD spokeswoman said.
